A life of service, injustice, teaching and prayer
Born Anastasios Kephalas in Eastern Thrace, Saint Nectarios served the Church in Chios, Athens and Alexandria, became Metropolitan of Pentapolis, directed the Rizarios Ecclesiastical School, and later settled on Aegina where the Holy Trinity community developed.
This site is being built from ecclesiastical and archival sources, with discrepancies identified rather than silently harmonised. The aim is to unite serious historical documentation with Orthodox devotional material.
